The ford model a was the second huge success for the ford motor company after its predecessor the model t. First produced on october 20, 1927, it replaced the model t which had been produced for 18 years. By the 4th of february 1929 one million model a’s had been sold. By march of 1930 model a sales hit three million and there were nine body styles available. This particular example is a 2 door coupe that was optioned with a rumble seat and a 2-tone paint scheme which was kewanee green over apple green with stone gray running boards and fenders. It shows 69,539 miles which is believed to be correct and is very original. It was frame off restored about 20 years ago. The restoration has held up incredibly well with the exception of the paint starting to show a little of its age and some minor surface rust on the bottom side. Everything is working properly and the vehicle is in need of nothing but a new home. All said and done we would consider this to be a solid # 2 vehicle and would appraise it at $23,205.

Following the introduction of the 5th generation mustang in 2005 the shelby nameplate was revived as a new high performance model designed and built by ford. For the 2005 model shelby along with paxton designed a new variant based on the v6 mustang. Modifications include a supercharged motor producing 350 horsepower. In 2007 shelby and ford returned with the shelby gt500 boasting a 5. 4 l modular 500 hp supercharged v8 engine. Some other notable features include the tremec tr-6060 6-speed manual transmission, suspension tuning, brembo brakes with 4 piston calipers and 14 rotors up front, a body kit and 18 inch wheels. A collaboration of ford''''s special vehicle team (svt) and carroll shelby, the gt500 was produced in limited quantity from 2007 - 2009 (just over 10,000 units total). This particular example is a one owner car with just 5,855 original miles that has been garage kept since day one and has never gone out in the rain let alone the snow. It was optioned in vapor silver pearl with black stripes, a black leather interior and the shaker sound system with xm radio. Not only that but there are almost $10,000 worth of ford racing upgraded parts that were all installed by rod baker ford which is a certified ford racing dealer.
